May include the following (each consultation is customized):
Packages
Postpartum Doula Package - This package includes an extended lactation consultation encompassing two+ feedings and doula work in-between. (5 hours of support in one day)
Prenatal Package - includes one prenatal lactation consultation and one lactation consultation after the baby arrives.
Back-to-work Package - includes one initial lactation consultation and one back-to-work consultation.
Full Package - includes one prenatal lactation consultation, one lactation consultation after the baby arrives, and one follow-up consultation or back-to-work/weaning consultation.
Additional packages are also available, just ask!
Payment
Full payment is due at the time of service. Credit cards, FSA cards, cash, and personal check accepted.
I am happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Initial In-home Lactation Consultation*
- Typical visit lasts 1-2 hours
- Includes follow-up phone call after the visit
- Detailed history
- Assist with positioning and latch
- Observation of a feed
- Assessment of the child's oral anatomy & suck
- Evaluation of milk transfer
- Pre/post weight as indicated
- Investigate cause(s) of issues
- Provide education and support for newborn and baby care
Follow-Up In-home Consultation
- Established clients only
Prenatal Consultation
May include the following (each consultation is customized):
- Learn about breast/human milk, anatomy, and how your body produces milk
- Positioning techniques and tricks & the secrets to a great latch
- What to expect the first few days and weeks
- How to know that your baby is getting enough milk
- How to work your pump and choose the right size flange
- Learn the importance of skin-to-skin and the hours after birth
- Baby bathing and hygiene care
- Safe infant sleep
